Why TILTEDU Exists
India is at an inflection point. The Union Budget 2026 has recognised the orange economy — creative and cultural industries powered by IP, technology, and human imagination — as a strategic national priority. Gaming, XR, digital content, animation, and creative entrepreneurship are no longer niche sectors. They are mainstream economic drivers, and India is positioned to lead.
But there is a gap. A significant, urgent gap between the talent India’s creative economy needs and the education system’s ability to produce it. Colleges teach outdated curricula. Industry can’t find job-ready candidates. Students graduate without the skills, networks, or confidence to build creative careers. And there is almost no institutional research infrastructure to tell us what the orange economy actually looks like in India — its size, its needs, its opportunities.
TILTEDU was built to close that gap.
What TILTEDU Is
TILTEDU is the education, research, and community institution of the orange economy. We are not a conventional college or training centre. We are an ecosystem institution — one that works across education, knowledge generation, and community building simultaneously, with industry at the core of everything we do.
We design curriculum that industry validates. We produce research that informs policy and strategy. We build communities that connect students with opportunities, and Kerala’s creative talent with the world.
